Getting to Know Risen King Community Church
We understand. Showing up at a new church can be anxiety producing.
We want to reduce the stress and help you be as comfortable as possible.
So first off, Risen King is a family more than anything else, and we welcome you as our guest!
We want your first experience with us to be a wonderful one, so here are a few things for you to know that will help.
WHEN WE MEET
We meet at 10 am every Sunday for worship service. You may want to arrive by 9:45 to be welcomed, find a seat, locate the restrooms and Children’s Church before the service starts.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
We know you’re just checking things out, just like we did once. We’ll be friendly, but not pushy. We’ll talk with you before and after the service if you’d like. We’ll be glad to pray with and for you at any time. We don’t pass an offering plate right now; an offering box is on the Greeting Table in case you’d like to give. When we serve Communion, you pick it up pre-packaged at the Greeting Table. We have a gift bag for you there as well. The service is normally about 75 minutes long. Come as you are–most of us dress casually.
WHAT ABOUT THE KIDS?
We have Children’s Church and Nursery, but if you prefer, you’re welcome to keep your children with you during the service. All our teachers have completed background checks and most of them are professional educators at Christian daycares or public schools.
