What do you know about the Protestant Reformation? Did you know Martin Luther began what would become a reform of the Christian Church 500 years ago on October 31, 1517, when he published his 95 Theses, criticism of Catholic church practices? We’re celebrating the 500th anniversary of Reformation Day here at Risen King Community Church with a potluck and fellowship after church on October 29, 2017.   All are invited to come share in the miracle of God’s grace that was the Reformation, arguably the second most important event in church history.

The principle tenets of the Reformation are known as the 5 Solas:

“Saved by Grace Alone (Sola Gratia) through Faith Aone (Sola Fide) in Christ Alone (Solus Christus) according to Scripture Alone (Sola Scriptura) for the Glory of God Alone (Soli Deo Gloria).” Amen and Amen!
